Terry Sustar

Terry started DataView Tax Service in 1985 and is licensed in all 50 states as an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. He has extensive experience with Corporate, Partnership, Small Business, and Personal tax return planning and preparation. He prepared his first tax return in 1974 and has been helping clients with tax planning and preparing tax returns ever since.

Terry’s main objective is serving the tax planning and preparation interests of his clients. He is well known for his professional experience and commitment to taxation planning and working with, and advising, financial planners on the tax aspects of their client’s financial plans. He attended Tampa College in St Petersburg, Florida working on an accounting and business major. Terry is a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals. As the founding father of DataView Tax Services, Inc., a family-owned tax preparation firm in Wooster, Ohio, he has a unique perspective on how retirement plans and taxation work together. His heart has always been to have his family join him in the family business.

Terry has been an Advisory Board Member of the Wayne County Pregnancy Care Center, and has also served as a board member of a local church. He also served as a board member and treasurer of a Non-Profit Ballet Education Institution in Wayne County. He served as a Training Officer for nine years on the Wayne County Underwater Search and Rescue Dive Team – a volunteer fire and rescue organization for his county.

Terry’s hobbies include travel camping, scuba diving, and most every sport – although, he watches more often than not. He is also a musician, playing keyboard with his church worship team, and has functioned as a leader, or a member, of worship teams for over twenty-five years. His joy comes from living life to the fullest, spending time with his family and his twelve grandchildren. And, more importantly, teaching them to do the same.

Shannon Sustar
Tax Preparer

Shannon is a seasoned tax preparer with over 25 years of experience, having worked closely with his father, Terry Sustar, at DataView Tax Service. As part of the company’s succession plan, Shannon is currently pursuing his Enrolled Agent certification with the IRS to enhance his expertise further.

In addition to his tax preparation skills, Shannon brings a wealth of diverse experience. He is a certified Microsoft technician, a Registered Nurse, and a devoted community volunteer. His service includes roles as a firefighter and dive team member with his local volunteer fire department, and he is actively involved in the Tech/Sound team at his local church.

Outside of work, Shannon loves camping, traveling, and scuba diving. He is a dedicated husband to his wife, Tiffany of Buchwalter Greenhouse, and a proud father of four children, excelling in balancing his professional commitments with his personal life.

Jason Sustar
Investment Advisor Representative
Tax Preparer

Jason originally started his career in 1996 as a tax preparer. Soon afterward he joined Sustar Financial Group to work alongside his dad, Terry Sustar, offering pre-retirees and retirees comprehensive financial plans and helping them to make better decisions regarding their money. Jason is licensed in Ohio for Life, Health, and Long Term Care. He holds his Series 7 Securities license and the Series 66 Investment Advisor Representative registration with the ability to handle stocks, bonds, mutual funds, CD’s, and annuities through some of the largest financial institutions in the nation.

He has spoken at local seminars designed to educate retirees and pre-retirees on a variety of topics including: How to maximize their Social Security benefits by choosing the proper time and way to take those benefits, how to possibly reduce or eliminate taxation of Social Security benefits, IRA distribution planning, Long Term Care alternatives, and strategies providing the ability for income and savings to last a lifetime.

Jason was born, raised, and now resides in Wooster with his wife, Elizabeth. Together they have four children, some of which having graduated college and started their own careers! Over the years Jason has been active in the community including having served as a Board Member of the Wayne County Pregnancy Care Center for over 3 years, and as the athletic director at his local church for over 4 years, where he organized and participated in various sports activities for both youth and adults. He is currently enjoying supporting his kid’s various activities like drama productions, choir, and church activities. Some of his favorite hobbies are photography, exercise, hiking, travel and camping, and most importantly, relaxing and spending time with his family.

David Sustar, CPA (Inactive)

David Sustar has been a valued member of the DataView Tax Service team since 2003, offering clients expert tax preparation and guidance. With a wealth of experience as a CFO for major construction companies, David leverages his deep understanding of finance and tax regulations to deliver exceptional service. His keen insight ensures that clients not only navigate the complexities of tax season but also receive sound financial advice tailored to their needs.

When he’s not assisting clients, David enjoys spending quality time with his children and grandchildren, cherishing family moments that bring joy and balance to his life.

Stephanie (Sustar) Evans
Tax Preparer

Stephanie has been a part of the DataView Tax Service family since her high school years, bringing a unique blend of creativity and dedication to the team. She graduated from The University of Akron with a Dance Major and Business Cognate, reflecting her diverse talents and entrepreneurial spirit.

As a founding member and Creative Director of a local, non-profit ballet school, Stephanie has showcased her leadership and passion for the arts. In her spare time, she enjoys choreographing high school musicals at both Smithville Middle School and Smithville High School, further enriching her community through the performing arts.
Stephanie is happily married and the proud mother of a son. Her ability to balance family, artistic pursuits, and her role at DataView Tax Service exemplifies her commitment and versatility.

Sandy Sustar – Office Manager

As the Office Manager, Sandy brings her unique perspective to every aspect of the business. In fact, Sandy is the creative force who coined the name “DataView” back in 1983, and has been an integral part of the company ever since.

Her ability to view the business through the eyes of a client is invaluable, constantly helping the team recognize what truly matters and ensuring that the company always puts its best foot forward. Much like any dedicated wife and mother, Sandy has a natural gift for making everyone around her look and sound better, often bringing out talents and strengths in people they didn’t even realize they had.

Sandy’s approach to life is rooted in care, intuition, and a desire to help others thrive. Whether she’s improving office processes, fostering a family environment, or just offering a kind word of encouragement, she plays a vital role in the success and growth of DataView.

Jennifer Burnham – Receptionist

Jennifer Burnham serves as the receptionist and Personal Assistant at DataView Tax Service. She brings a personal touch to her role, working closely with clients to ensure they feel valued and appreciated. Practically a part of the Sustar family, Jennifer, Shannon, and Jason have known each other since elementary school. Her dedication, loyalty, and conscientious work habits play a vital role in the success of the business. Jennifer’s commitment to excellence and her warm approach make her an indispensable member of the team.
